Algemene Voorwaarden – ADT TAXI SERVICES - Terms and Conditions (2026)
1. Definitions
• Service Provider: ADT TAXI SERVICES, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 77076397.
• Customer: Any natural person or legal entity using the services of ADT TAXI SERVICES.
• Services: All transportation and chauffeur services offered by ADT TAXI SERVICES, including taxi services and hourly reservations.
2. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, reservations, rides, agreements, and other legal relationships between ADT TAXI SERVICES and the customer. Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
- ADT operates as an online platform facilitating reservations and mediation between customers on the one hand and independent drivers and/or partner companies on the other hand.
- When a reservation is made through ADT, the agreement for the actual transport service is concluded directly between the customer and the relevant driver or partner company.
- In such cases, ADT is not a party to the passenger transport agreement and accepts no liability for damages, delays, accidents, deficiencies, or other consequences arising from the execution of the ride by third parties.
- ADT remains solely responsible for the proper functioning of the platform, the reservation system, and, where applicable, the processing of payments.
- Complaints relating to the execution of the ride by third parties must be addressed directly to the relevant driver or partner company. ADT may mediate but is not obliged to provide compensation.
3. Intellectual Property
• All intellectual property rights relating to the website, texts, photographs, and other materials belong to ADT TAXI SERVICES.
• Without prior written consent, it is not permitted to copy, distribute, use, or misuse materials belonging to ADT TAXI SERVICES.
4. Reservations and Prices
• All prices displayed online are prepared as carefully as possible. Obvious errors (such as typographical or programming errors) do not entitle the customer to performance of the agreement.
• Online rates may be adjusted at any time without prior notice.
• For online reservations, the rates displayed on the website apply. For telephone bookings, meter rates or pre-agreed fixed rates apply.
• ADT TAXI SERVICES applies a minimum fare of €37.50 for passenger cars and €78 for minivans for telephone and app bookings, regardless of the metered fare.
5. Payment
• Payment must be made in advance or immediately after completion of the ride, via the available payment methods.
• Service fees may be charged for credit card payments.
• If a customer initiates a chargeback (credit card reversal), ADT TAXI SERVICES reserves the right to recover the full ride price plus administrative and collection costs.
• To protect the privacy of business clients, ADT TAXI SERVICES is not obliged to provide GPS data or other sensitive information to third parties.
6. Cancellation by the Customer
• In case of cancellation within 48 hours before the start of the ride or service, no refund will be issued.
• In case of cancellation more than 48 hours before the start, the ride price will be refunded minus 3% transaction costs.
• Refunds will only be made via the same payment method used for the reservation. ADT TAXI SERVICES is not liable for additional costs or delays caused by banks or credit card companies.
7. Cancellation by ADT TAXI SERVICES
• ADT TAXI SERVICES reserves the right to cancel reservations in case of unforeseen circumstances, force majeure, or insufficient availability of vehicles/drivers.
• In such cases, the paid ride price will be fully refunded. The customer is not entitled to additional compensation.
8.1 No-shows, Waiting Time and Complaints
• If a driver does not appear or the agreed service is, in the customer’s opinion, not properly executed, the customer must notify ADT TAXI SERVICES in writing by email within twelve (12) hours after the scheduled start time of the ride. The notification must include sufficient proof of contact attempts and supporting documentation (such as photos or messages). Failure to report in time or provide sufficient evidence results in forfeiture of any right to refund or compensation.
• Complaints submitted later will not be processed and do not entitle the customer to a refund.
8.2 Execution of the Service and Proof for Chauffeur & TAXI Services
- The agreed duration of a reservation applies to the total period during which the driver is available to the customer, regardless of whether the customer fully utilizes the booked time. Non-use does not entitle the customer to a refund or discount.
- The service is deemed properly performed if the driver was present in accordance with the reservation and available during the booked period.
- Complaints must be submitted in writing by email within twelve (12) hours after the scheduled end of the ride, including evidence.
- Failure to submit a timely complaint with evidence results in the service being irrevocably deemed correctly performed.
- In case of a chargeback, the customer remains fully liable for the agreed ride price plus all additional costs incurred by ADT TAXI SERVICES (administrative, legal, and collection costs).
- Only written communication via email or WhatsApp is considered valid proof regarding execution of reservations and agreements.
- Telephone agreements or verbal commitments without written confirmation are not binding and cannot serve as grounds for claims or disputes.
- If ADT TAXI SERVICES has performed the agreed service in accordance with the reservation, no refund will be granted, regardless of the customer’s dissatisfaction or partial use of the service.
- If the customer arrives later than the agreed start time, the reserved time does not shift accordingly. Late arrival does not entitle the customer to a refund or extension.
- If the customer uses fewer hours or kilometers than originally booked, the full agreed price remains due.
8.3 City Rides and Airport Transfers
1. City Rides
• 10 minutes of waiting time is included from the scheduled pick-up time.
• If waiting time exceeds 10 minutes, waiting time will be charged from the originally scheduled pick-up time at the applicable rate.
• If the customer is not present within 25 minutes and no additional arrangements have been made, this is considered a no-show. 100% of the ride price will be charged.
• If availability allows, the driver may wait longer. Additional waiting time will be charged immediately and must be paid by the customer.
2. Airport Transfers
• 60 minutes of waiting time is included from the official flight landing time.
• Waiting time exceeding 60 minutes will be charged from landing time at the applicable waiting rate.
• If the customer does not appear within 90 minutes after landing and no additional arrangements have been made, this is considered a no-show. 100% of the ride price will be charged.
• If availability allows, the driver may wait longer. Additional waiting time will be charged immediately and must be paid by the customer.
• Waiting time caused by the customer will be charged at vehicles specific hourly rate.
9.1 Additional Costs
- Only hand luggage and regular suitcases that fit easily in the vehicle’s luggage compartment are permitted. Large goods (such as bicycles, furniture, or other bulky/dangerous items) are not allowed unless agreed in writing in advance.
- If transport becomes impossible due to such goods, ADT TAXI SERVICES may refuse the ride without refund. Additional costs or damages may be charged to the customer.
- All additional costs during the ride (including tolls, parking, ferries, and other charges) are fully at the customer’s expense unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Incorrect or incomplete information (such as wrong address, incorrect flight number, or incorrect arrival/departure time) may result in additional costs being charged to the customer.
- If the customer causes damage, contamination, or destruction to the vehicle, ADT TAXI SERVICES may charge a standard cleaning and damage fee of €350, payable immediately, without prejudice to the right to claim additional compensation.
9.2 Hourly Bookings and Minimum Purchase
- A minimum booking duration applies to hourly chauffeur services and private tours as agreed in advance.
- Hours are calculated from the agreed start time, regardless of actual boarding time.
- Unused hours are non-refundable.
- Hourly bookings include a restriction of 20 kilometers per booked hour; additional kilometers will be charged separately by the vehicle specific distance.
- For hourly bookings, total booked hours start and end in Amsterdam.
- Any additional hours or distance will be charged and must be paid before the passenger exits the vehicle.
9.3 Lost and Found
- ADT TAXI SERVICES is not liable for loss, damage, or forgotten belongings in vehicles.
- Found items are stored for a maximum of 30 days.
- Costs for collection or shipping of found items are entirely at the customer’s expense.
9.4 Exclusivity and Prohibition of Direct Bookings
- Customers are not permitted to directly or indirectly approach or book drivers working through ADT TAXI SERVICES outside of ADT.
- Violation results in an immediately payable penalty of €1,500 per violation, without prejudice to ADT’s right to claim full damages if actual damages exceed this amount.
9.5 Transfer of Rides
- ADT TAXI SERVICES reserves the right to have a reservation performed by another driver, vehicle, or affiliated taxi company if necessary.
- The customer is not entitled to a refund or compensation provided an equivalent service is delivered.
9.6 Conduct in the Vehicle
- Customers and passengers must behave properly and respectfully.
- Smoking, consuming alcohol or drugs, aggressive behavior, or damaging/contaminating the vehicle is prohibited.
- In case of misconduct, the driver may terminate the ride immediately without refund. Any damages or additional costs will be charged to the customer.
9.7 Right to Refuse Customers
- ADT TAXI SERVICES and its drivers reserve the right to refuse customers or cancel rides if transport is deemed unsafe or impracticable (e.g., intoxication, aggression, nuisance, exceeding passenger or luggage limits).
- In such cases, no refund will be granted.
9.8 Business Accounts and Payments
- Private customers must pay in advance.
- Business customers with contracted accounts have a 14-day payment term unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- In case of late payment, statutory commercial interest and extrajudicial collection costs may be charged.
10. Liability
• ADT TAXI SERVICES is not liable for direct or indirect damages unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
• ADT TAXI SERVICES is not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather conditions, or other factors beyond its control.
• The customer is responsible for planning rides in time and providing accurate information.
11. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (including but not limited to driver illness, breakdowns, extreme weather, strikes, or other events beyond ADT’s control), ADT TAXI SERVICES is not obliged to perform the agreement and is not liable for damages.
12. Amendments
ADT TAXI SERVICES reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The latest version is always available on the website.
13. Governing Law
These terms and all agreements between ADT TAXI SERVICES and the customer are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the district where ADT TAXI SERVICES is established.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
- ADT TAXI SERVICES processes personal data solely for the execution of agreed services and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.
- For privacy protection of business clients, ADT TAXI SERVICES is not obliged to provide GPS data or other sensitive information to third parties, including credit card companies.
